Jordan Welch: Dropshipping Guru or Scammer?

Today, I’ll review who Jordan Welch is and if he’s legit.

Jordan Welch appears to be an extremely successful entrepreneur in the E-commerce space…

He also runs a YouTube channel with over 500,000 subscribers, has multiple courses, and founded the dropshipping toolkit Viral Vault.

But… is Jordan Welch legit? or is he a scam?

What is Jordan Welch’s Net Worth?

Let’s find out in this Jordan Welch review!

Who is Jordan Welch?

jordan welch youtube 2022

According to his course eCom Accelerators, Jordan Welch is from a lower-class single-parent household.

His main goal was always to improve the situation for himself and his family.

Jordan has been starting businesses since he was 14, and finally landed on digital marketing and ecommerce as his main focus.

Using his last $600, he launched a Shopify store that FINALLY succeeded…

From there, he has continued selling on Shopify as well as uploading to YouTube, creating courses, and launching Viral Vault.

His values lie in transparency, authenticity and shamelessly providing value.

This all sounds pretty good so far, but let’s keep digging…

Jordan Welch: Shopify Stores

jordan welch shopify store

Jordan’s main business for years has been his Shopify stores.

He’s had multiple online stores, but his most recent one SleepBand has been his most successful.

He’s also shared tons of details about it on his YouTube channel.

From 2020 to April 2022, this store generated about $1.8 million in sales, with around a 20% profit margin.

Most dropshipping stores are low quality, with 100% of profits staying in the owner’s bank account.

While Jordan started this store dropshipping with AliExpress

He put a ton of work in AND reinvested most of the profits to turn it into a legitimate e-commerce brand.

Jordan ended up selling the store in August 2022 to focus more on YouTube and Viral Vault.

I’ll go more in-depth on this later when I go over Jordan Welch’s net worth.

Jordan Welch: Courses

ecom accelerators review

Jordan Welch’s course eCom Accelerators is a complete dropshipping course that came out in 2019.

He describes it as everything you need to know about growing and scaling a profitable online eCommerce Business.

It’s priced at $497 and is still available for purchase.

jordan welch course the reveal

More recently, he released a mini-course called The Reveal, where he shows every detail about his one-product store, SleepBand.

I’ve only seen him promote this course on ONE YouTube video… but I’m sure it got tons of buyers as it seems quite valuable.

I’ll go more in-depth on his course earnings when I go over Jordan Welch’s net worth.

Jordan Welch: YouTube

jordan welch youtube

Jordan has been uploading to YouTube since 2017.

He originally started with tips and tutorials for Shopify stores.

While these YouTube videos were certainly helpful, they did NOT lead to explosive growth…

After he pretty much exhausted that area, he shifted focus to sharing details about his successes.

This is when things started to take off for his YouTube channel…

He has regularly shared details about how much money his businesses made.

Early in 2022 is when his subscriber count started to go parabolic.

Jordan started releasing top-tier videos that apply to a very large audience.

This includes things like interviews with Yacht Owners and Billionaires like Kevin O’Leary.

As of September 2022, Jordan’s YouTube channel sits at a very impressive 550,000 subscribers.

I’ll go more in-depth on his YouTube earnings when I go over Jordan Welch’s net worth.

Jordan Welch: Viral Vault

jordan welch viral vault

Jordan has been building Viral Vault since 2018.

His original business partner for Viral Vault ghosted him and ran off with a bunch of money.

Jordan was then stuck building Viral Vault himself, spending $20,000 to $30,000 per month just to keep it alive…

He ended up blowing through most of his savings ($300,000) and almost went bankrupt.

This forced him to launch his store SleepBand to get some cash flow.

The success of Jordan Welch’s Shopify store allowed him to create a ton more YouTube videos…

The success of his YouTube channel then helped Viral Vault finally take off.

The key to Viral Vault’s success was he switched to marketing it organically via his YouTube channel.

You can read my full Viral Vault review here.

Jordan Welch: Net Worth

Jordan’s main sources of income include his Shopify store, YouTube, courses, and dropshipping app Viral Vault.

He generated $2.5 million of revenue in 2021, with about half that as profit.

JORDAN WELCH NET WORTH 2023: SHOPIFY STORE

Jordan hasn’t shared a lot of details on his older Shopify stores, so let’s focus on his newest one: SleepBand.

He said he reinvested pretty much ALL profits back into the store…

This means the ONLY profit he’s made from this store was when he sold it.

He wasn’t allowed to reveal the exact sale price, but here’s my quick estimate:

In 2021, SleepBand generated about $1.3 million in revenue and $260,000 in profits.

Given the unpredictability and volatility of Shopify stores, they don’t sell for a very high multiple (typically ~2x yearly profit).

Also, judging from his recent videos, it seems like revenue and profits were declining…

However, this store had more brand power and assets than a typical online store.

My best guess is he sold it for a 2x multiple and pocketed about $500,000.

JORDAN WELCH NET WORTH 2023: YOUTUBE

In one of his videos, Jordan revealed his YouTube channel made $287,000 in 2021.

He got 7 million views which means his CPM is about $40.

As of September 2022, Jordan’s channel has gotten about 14 million views for the year.

This means he’s earned about $560,000 in pure profit from his YouTube channel in only 9 months.

All combined, I estimate he’s earned about $850,000 from his YouTube channel.

JORDAN WELCH NET WORTH 2023: COURSES

jordan welch course ecom accelerators

Jordan Welch’s course eCom Accelerators used to be a large source of income, but I’d guess it’s taken a back seat to Viral Vault.

It’s still available for purchase for $497, but I haven’t seen him promote it in a long time.

I’d guess most people just buy Viral Vault now instead of eCom Accelerators.

Recently, he released a mini-course called The Reveal for $197.

Given how large his subscriber base is, I’d guess he’s made about $1 million profit with these courses.

JORDAN WELCH NET WORTH 2023: VIRAL VAULT

Jordan welch viral vault

In October 2021, Viral Vault was generating about $1 million/year (annualized). He also stated that it was worth $2.5 to $3 million if he wanted to sell it.

According to Jordan, this business relies heavily on his YouTube channel.

Since October 2021, his subscriber base has increased by about 3x. It makes sense then that Viral Vault followed a similar trajectory.

Making a conservative estimate, let’s say Viral Vault has doubled since then.

This would mean Viral Vault is generating about $2 million/year in revenue with a valuation of $5 million.

Like most SaaS companies, this business has extremely high margins (around 70%).

Jordan has never said anything about outside investors, so I’d guess he owns 100% of Viral Vault.

JORDAN WELCH NET WORTH 2023: TOTAL

Jordan looks to be very conservative with spending/investing, so let’s assume he retains 50% of his income (taxes/expenses).

Adding it all up together…

I estimate Jordan Welch’s net worth at about 7 million rapidly inflating US Dollars.

One thing to note is this is highly dependent on the valuation of Viral Vault.

jordan welch review

After being in the dropshipping trenches for 5+ years, it’s clear that you should only learn from the best of the best…

Jordan started businesses when he was 14, so he’s clearly passionate about this and not here to make a quick buck.

He is very transparent and helpful on his YouTube channel, showing his wins and losses.

However, most of his money seems to come from his YouTube channel and Viral Vault…

Overall, Jordan Welch is not a scam, but there are MUCH better people to learn dropshipping from.
